Ever
diet or exercise and see very little or no results? If
you want to lose weight fast and don't want to
waste your valuable time trying different diets and
exercise programs please read the information below.
Information that is proven to show positive results on
how to
lose weight based on the hands on experience I
have had with nearly 15000 satisfied clients to date.
5-10 minutes of your time will definitely open your
eyes when it comes to learning some basics on how to
lose weight fast.
What
happens when you eat?
The
body stores it's primary energy source in the form of
glycogen in the muscles and liver mostly from the
foods you eat. The liver stores approx. 1500 calories
while the muscles store a fraction of that. If you
were to exercise non-stop at a moderate pace your
muscles would have approximately 30-45 minutes of
stored energy in the form of glycogen. Once the
activity is stopped the liver begins to replenish any
lost glycogen stores in the muscles. When you eat, the
body breaks down the foods and replenishes any lost
glycogen in the liver. This process continues every
hour on the hour so a constant supply of energy is
present in the muscles. If your primary goal is to
lose weight fast keep reading.
If you
don't supply your body with adequate nutrition it may
- depending on your weight - revert to muscle proteins
and break them down in order to replenish any lost
glycogen stores in the liver. So many people today and
even a lot of professionals believe that if you lower
your caloric intake this will force the body to use
stored fat to replenish glycogen stores in the liver
and this will result in weight loss. This can and does
occur, BUT, not in the way most think. The body will
replenish lost glycogen stores in the liver when you
decide to eat! I said liver, not muscles! Believe me
the body will wait on you to eat! The fat on your body
is saved and the body will not revert to it unless
there is a severe famine. Would you dip into your
savings account if you still had money in your regular
bank account? Of course not! The body works in that
same way. It is easier for the body to breakdown the
foods you eat and use them for energy instead of the
stored fat that it has been saving for so long. Now
that you are learning the basics on how to lose
weight fast keep reading.
There
is a way that you can force or should I say trick the
body into utilizing stored fat to replenish lost
glycogen stores in the liver without restricting your
diet and/or potentially harming your body and you will
lose weight fast.
In
order for the body to utilize stored fat for energy
the muscles storage tanks so to speak need to be
depleted. You can deplete these storage tanks three
different ways.
- Through strict
carbohydrate depletion. (Not recommended)
- By doing any type of
aerobic exercise - treadmill, bike, etc.
(Recommended)
- By doing any type of
anaerobic exercise - resistance training such as
lifting weights, high impact group exercise, etc.
(Recommended)
Are you
ready for this one? Just because you exercise it does
not mean the storage tanks in the muscles will
deplete. Even if they did deplete it does not mean
they will stay that way long enough for the body to
revert to stored fat for energy. For example, if you
were to ride a stationary bike for 20 minutes at a
moderate pace, on the average you would only burn off
about 1/2 of the stored glycogen in the muscles
meaning no stored fat was burned off at all. This may
be okay because you burned calories possibly
preventing further weight gain, however, no stored fat
was lost meaning you will see no shrinkage in the size
of your body and you would not lose weight. This is
why so many people exercise and see NO results in
weight loss!
Another
example is if you were to ride a stationary bike for
10 minutes or so and then stop to rest for a few
minutes, or if you are like most people in the gym you
may stop and talk to friends. At this point you would
only have burned off 10 minutes worth of stored
glycogen in the muscles. The bad part is when you
stopped the exercise the liver immediately began
replenishing any and all lost glycogen in the muscles.
When you start back up you are thinking you will pick
up where you left off, however if you rested too long
it is possible that all stored glycogen was
replenished in the muscles and if this were the case
it would be like starting over and you can forget
about fast weight loss results.
The big
question is do you have to exercise for 30-45 minutes
non-stop in order for the body to revert to stored fat
for energy so you can lose weight fast? NO! Our
programs allow the body to utilize stored fat for
energy in a little as 6 minutes after starting the
proper type of exercise.
